MindForge ("the App") is a cognitive training application. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

Data Collection

MindForge does not collect or transmit any personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, device ID, or precise location) to external servers. Your game scores, progress, streaks, achievements, and app settings remain on your device.

No Accounts Required

The App does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in with any third-party service.

Product Analytics

MindForge uses PostHog, a privacy-focused product analytics service, to understand how the app is used and to improve the product. The following is tracked:

Camera and Microphone

The App includes an optional camera overlay feature for recording gameplay. Camera and microphone access is only activated when you explicitly enable it. No audio or video data is transmitted — recordings are saved locally to your device or shared only through your device's native share functionality at your discretion.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, the App uses your device's local notification system. Notification preferences are stored on your device and are not shared externally.

Children's Privacy

MindForge does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The product analytics described above are anonymous, contain no personal identifiers, and are not linked to any individual user.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
